Fleet Management Services

Car Club Fleet Management is about outsourcing of all services during the lifecycle of your vehicles, which would reduce your administrative workload and allow you to concentrate on your core competencies. Some of the salient features of “Car Club Lease” is as follows

Car Policy Review:
We make unbiased recommendations keeping in mind the interests of the clients. We, through our experience and expertise, offer to install and implement standard operating procedures for various operations functions with regard to the fleet owned by the client to their benefit without losing their precious time.

Operating Lease:
We will procure vehicles as specified by the clients as per the leasing proposal.  The vehicles will be registered in the name of the client with Berggruen Car Rentals Private Limited   as financier.  The product will be structured as a pure  Operating lease in conformance with the requirements of  AS-19 standards issued by Institute of Chartered Accountant of India.

Vehicle selection and delivery:
We provide expertise in the selection of the appropriate vehicle for an individual employee’s needs, organize test drives, arrange for trade-ins, bargaining the price  and finally striking the best possible deal in line with different user requirements.  Upon confirmation of the contract wherein the make, model, colour and accessories are specified and agreed, Car Club will order the vehicles. These vehicles will be delivered at your convenience within the mutually agreed time complete in all respects.
 
Maintenance Management:
Car Club take the responsibility of full vehicle maintenance which includes all manufacturer scheduled services, any non-scheduled services that may be required (e.g brakes, battery replacement, mechanical and electrical faults, exhausts, tyres, etc).  Each new vehicle is delivered with ‘’Car Clubs Driver Guide’’ which contains information on the service and maintenance procedures and other useful information for safe driving.  Keeping in mind the safety of our customers, a proactive maintenance schedule is established for your cars right from the minute they arrive at the dealer. Starting with a full inspection before delivery, the cars will be sent for periodic checks and services. These checks will be carried out by authorized manufacturer workshops after consultation with our technical team.  In summary, our aim is to ensure that full services are delivered in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Insurance Management:
Vehicles will be comprehensively insured to cover all passengers and driver for the entire tenure of the lease.  Car Club would handle claims.

Accident Management:
In the unfortunate event of an accident, Car Club will ensure that assistance is given through its roadside assistance (see below) and will employ specialist personnel to assist in dealings with insurance companies to ensure claims are settled  quickly and efficiently.

Insurance Partial Damage Waiver:
One of the frequent issues raised by most employee-users relates to payment of depreciation loss (difference between the amount the workshop charges and the amount the insurance company actually settles) in case of an accident. This difference has to be settled by employee-User, which can be quite severe in case of a big accident. To address this issue Car Club has introduced Insurance Partial Damage Waiver, through which Car Club would also indemnify the client / employee-user from any insurance claim short fall due to insurance depreciation losses on the car. This service would not be applicable in case of a total loss, theft or if the insurance company declares the claim invalid.

Roadside Assistance :
This  is a comprehensive breakdown and recovery package. If any of vehicles are stranded on the road, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year a rescue crew will be at your help within reasonable time. They will check the vehicle and endeavor to put it back on the road immediately, failing which they will provide alternative arrangements. Of course, this service is free of cost only for Car Club customers.

Replacement Car:
We value your time and your need to be on the move. In case your car is held up in the workshop for periodic maintenance for more than 24 hours, a replacement car facility can be availed. The service can be availed by calling our help desk number. In the unfortunate situation of an accident we shall be happy to arrange a relief vehicle at subsidized rates.

Chauffeur Services:
Upon request, Car Club can make arrangements for experienced and well trained Chauffeurs.  All these Chauffeurs would be vetted by police authorities and trained in defensive driving and will be in smart uniforms.

Account Management:
Once a contract is signed, a dedicated account management team will take over responsibility for handling your needs.
